Easter!

Had a fantastic, busy beautiful Easter weekend.  It was my first official weekend back as a photog, and between thursday night and sunday morning i had 7 shoots! Nick was gone fri and sat for a senior retreat, and sooo my sweet momma came down to help and have some easter good times! and we did!!soo many pics!!

I should also let you know that Kate has decided that she HATES the camera, she hates mine, and she hates the phone one, so any smile you see was completely false or caught on Major accident! Love being a photographer and my child hating the camera! Oh and you should know that my childrens clothing are sponsored by the Gap and all their cuteness that comes to us via Auntie KayKay and dear DeeDee!

We then came home got into some play clothes and dyed some eggs!

This is Easter Sunday. Im real sorry we dont have a good pic of the whole family, that was when Kate decided to have a break down, so no family pics, BUT super cute ones of the babies. Look how big Harper is! She is so sweet!

Harper Jane

She came to us on a kind of rainy Monday morning, A MONTH ago! February 13, She is just a perfect and pretty as her sister Kate, They came in weighing exactly the same, 6 lbs and 12 ounces! But little miss Harper is a little longer at 19 1/2 inches. You wouldnt know it though, she is SO tiny!! It has been fun, trying and exciting in our house the last month. Harper gels right in, she keeps me up at night of course, but she coos and smiles which makes it much easier :)

Kate has really taken to her, and they are sweet as can be. Kate gives her kisses all the time and likes to hold her when she can. Ill have some stories as I get caught up on these blogs!

But here are some pics from what seemed to be a week ago, but was already a month!! Here is Harpers First day! It was a pretty great day, went in with ALOT of anxiety, not excited for the C-section, but it was fairly easy, great nurses and drs. Came out and ther was my sweet family and friends ready to meet our new bundle!

Here she is!!

Just a little more gingerbread...

So the next day, Kate wanted to get her sugar high down to what it was the day before, and lets just say she is one smart little cookie. we were all getting ready, and Kate was kind of running around playing, watching woody and hanging out, when suddenly it got just a little too quiet for my liking. If you have been to our house, you know there is a front room and that room has two doors that can be shut so that you cant see into the room. Well my super clever baby closed both doors and got on the chair at the end of the dining table and then proceeded to get on the table to devour more candy off of the gingerbread house...when I heard the quiet I saw this...and well couldnt help but take a pic...SO funny!!!

Thanksgiving Day!

Then on the actual day of Thanksgiving we ventured out to Pinehurst, Tx not too far from Kingwood to visit with my side of the family that is mostly from Tennessee. They are the Davis side of the family and they sure do know how to cook up a meal! Lets just say we werent missing a thing! It was SOOO good...I was stuffed to the gills for sure! But I thought you might like to see how we all looked that day, we got all spiffy and dressed up! It was a fun time :) A Big thanks to my "cousins" Connie and Bill for having our little family over for the big day!

Thanksgiving Happenings...

Early in the week my mom and sweet little brother Davis came down....I cant tell you how great it was to have them here to hang out with my munchkin and just be with each other. My mom of course brought Kate a GingerBread house and all the dressings for it to look fantastic! Lets just say Kate loved it and made a huge mess, but it was WELL worth it! I think Kate probably had the most sugar she has ever had in her life that night...but oh well.
